We first served Owen Trailers many years ago in a facility in El Monte. We upgraded their old system to a digital KXTD1232 and for several years they manufactured trailers used by Carl’s Jr, and other portable kitchens for special occasions as well as circus trailers for rides and other attractions. They outgrew the facilities in El Monte and bought property in Riverside to be the new home of Owen Trailers. They have upgraded to the KX-TDA50 digital system and will be looking into VOIP to better support off site offices. They have multiple buildings presently and continue to look for optimizing their operation through technology. They use the Panasonic KX-TD7684 call phone to stay in touch as they move around the acerage of trailers.

Valley Heat Treating KX-TD1232

Valley Heat Treating is using the Panasonic KXTD 1232 Digital system. It has tirelessly performed under the hot and dirty aspects of the job of treating metals. Because it gets pretty hot in the area, it has been a good test for tough environments. It continues to serve but will probably be upgraded to the NCP 1000 as technology provides for a more efficient path of communications. Paging in the facility provides for the location of key employees as they travel on the property from one area to the other. They are involved in several types of heat treating for many companies in aerospace as well as many other uses of heat treated products.

Continental Heat Treating NCP 1000

When I met Continental Heat treating, they were having a hard time getting a callback from their existing vendor. They had an old TIE system and parts were getting hard to come by. I suggested the Panasonic KXTD 1232 and we have served them for years. The system still runs fine today. The manufacturing is not a clean process so the Panasonic has had to withstand less than clean room environments, but continued to run without fail. During the remodel, we will retire the KXTD 1232 in favor of the NCP 1000 to gain benefit of many of the Technological advantages of IP phones and other benefits. The replacement of the KX-TD1232 to the KX-NCP 1000 is currently underway in conjuction of the remodeling of the offices. The implementation of the KX-NT343 and KX-NT346 VOIP phones will allow for side by side operation while the new Digital Trunk is being implemented. The KX-DT343 sets will take over the enviromentally challenging areas to support the company in its communications needs.

Clementine Restaurant KX-TDA 100

We met Annie while helping another company install some cabling for their Point of Sale system. We offered her the Panasonic TDA 100 to support the many calls she gets for lunch specials. We also brought the TVA50 voice mail system. She has transformed the voice mail system into an advance order system, daily soup specials, seasonal foods, sandwich of the month and scheduled drive by pick up for your phone and fax orders. She has ask the TVA to a lot of work for her and it is performing tirelessly everyday. Did I forget to mention the catering business as well as fresh baked pastries? EnergyCS KX-TDE100

EnergyCS invested in the Panasonic KX-TDE 100 and the TVA 50 voice mail system a couple of years ago and have continued to grow the system since. They use the flexibility of network sets to make rearranging staff a simple procedure as they reallocate space for the growth of the company.

EnergyCS was founded in 2001 to pioneer in the business of advanced controls for energy storage focused on emerging markets for advanced batteries in electric and hybrid transportation and stationary applications. I was introduced to Mike Bastian about 20 years ago from another customer when he was shopping for a new phone system. I sold him a KXTD1232 and that ran for several years. Technology offered us a way to save money some time ago with the T1 integration reducing telephone operating costs and we moved up to the KXTDA100 to support the T1. We also populated the plant with KX-TD7685 cell stations to support the cell phones that key employees carry so they can receive a customer call whenever and wherever they are on the property. We also have external paging to all the buildings’ to help find people even in the noisy manufacturing areas.

We just upgraded the TDA100 to a KXTDE 100 in preparation for SIP trunks from Broadvox.

I have served Nelson Dunn back when they were located in Commerce. They were on a Digital Mitel system and when they bought their building in Cerritos, we moved them into a newer version of Mitel. Just recently Nelson Dunn acquired another building on adjacent property and we moved their service on to the Panasonic NCP 1000 using the new KX-NT400 VOIP sets as well as theKX-NT343 VOIP sets. This afforded easy connectivity between the buildings and the flexibility to move a set on the LAN locally as they continue to grow their infrastructure. Served by fiber optic between the buildings with redundant cat 6 cables, the Panasonic NCP1000 can support the current facilities and opens the door to SIP trunks, an alternative to PRI prices and the streamlining of the communication aspect of the company. We have also connected thier new building to the system providing voice, data and paging using fibre optic cables. We have redundant Cat 6 cables in place as well. The paging is on 12 guage stranded cable for the paging horns in the new building.

The KXTVA50 voicemail system answers a missed call and is stored locally and immediately illuminates a big red light on the phone. Notification can also call you a number of places to let you know you have a message waiting. An email can be sent to your smart phone with the voicemail message attached so you can listen to the message on your cell phone before you return the call. The Caller ID phone number is also sent to your cell phone.

Mikes Auto Service KX-NCP 500

I met Val and then Mike through Letip of West Orange County. They had 4 outside lines on 4 line analog phones. From a business perspective, there was no music on hold or Paging through the phones. There was also no paging in the shop. They had expanded into an adjacent shop and there was no service there for phone or paging. We replaced the small phones with an NCP 500 and KX-NT346 VOIP phones as well as a KX-T7684 cell phone that is part of the system. This gave communication to the other building and the ability to keep mike in touch with the office when he was working with the staff in the other building.

Mike and Val have relocated to Metzler in Huntington Beach to larger facilities and we relocated their system to the new facility. Their investment continues to grow and support their business and will do so for years to come.

I met Sean in Letip of West Orange County a few years ago. He quickly brought of energy and passion about his web products and was helping everyone in the group to understand the power of a website as well as how to individually contribute to your own site. A couple of years ago, he moved to a larger facility and I was privileged to get him on to a Panasonic NCP 500 system with KX-NT346 VOIP phones. He has continued to grow as well as sublet some of his space to a tenant in the music business which is also very near and dear to his heart. His tenant is using phones from the system and using their own Broadvox SIP trunks thereby keeping the calls separated and also the liability. We have installed a Telnes T1 to support the voice and data requirements of both Sean Sloan Productions and Relentless Music Management Company. The arrangement allows both companies to grow together with less overhead. The Panasonic NCP 500 can grow with them and continue to support them for years to come.

Millicare KX-NCP 1000

We have served Millicare for several years first installing the KX TD 816 in Garden Grove with a small two port voice mail system. It has functioned well as it has grown to capacity and keep continues to work daily to keep the communications lines open and support their growing service business. Their carpet and flooring customers may need to call day or night. Their dry powder extraction system keeps facilities looking their best. Their offices in Irvine continue to grow. They have recently expanded their operation and installed the Panasonic NCP1000 IP system to link wireless to their additional office space adjacent but not connected to their existing building. we are using KX-NT343 VOIP sets on the new office space and will repopulate the old desks in the original building with KX-NT343 sets. We have updated the voice mail to the KX-TVA50 for improved communication to the field. We have added Broadvox SIP trunks to support the additional trunking requirements and will be porting the analog lines onto the SIP trunks shortly. We have added a toll free number for customers to call in for quotes or service. With the VOIP sets on the LAN, relocation of personnel is a much easier task.
